Couchstock

A Couch-Built Music Festival for the Artists Who Actually Show Up

Couchstock is a three-day, multi-stage, fully virtual music festival built specifically for OTT television and long-form viewing. No crowds. No travel. No gatekeepers. Just artists, audiences, and a platform designed to meet people where they already are: on the couch.

This is not a livestream experiment.
This is not social media content repackaged as a festival.

Couchstock is made for TV, distributed through STNR.TV, and structured to support artists who understand that the future of music is participation, not permission.

The Festival at a Glance

  • 3 Days
  • 10 Stages
  • 150+ Artists
  • Multiple Genres
  • Global OTT Distribution
  • $20 General Admission
  • 50% Artist Revenue Share per Ticket Sold via Tracking Links

Every stage is curated.
Every set is intentional.
Every artist is part of the ecosystem.

Audiences don’t scroll past Couchstock.
They sit down for it.

The Types of Artists We’re Looking For

Couchstock is genre-diverse by design. This is not a single-scene festival.

We are actively curating:

  • Electronic & EDM
  • Hip-Hop & Rap
  • Indie & Alternative
  • Rock & Punk
  • Jam, Funk, and Psychedelic
  • Experimental & Genre-Blending Acts
  • Comedy-Adjacent Music Performers
  • Live Electronic Performers & Producers
  • DJs with real performance presence
  • Artists comfortable with cameras and long-form viewing

What matters most is not your genre.

What matters is:

  • You can perform a compelling set
  • You understand how to engage an audience
  • You’re willing to promote something you’re part of
  • You want to help build something bigger than a single show

This festival is artist-first, not algorithm-first.

Why Couchstock Exists

Traditional festivals are expensive, exclusive, and increasingly disconnected from artists.

Social platforms promise exposure but deliver volatility.

Streaming pays fractions of pennies.

Couchstock exists to test a different idea:

What if artists owned the distribution lane together?
What if audiences paid directly for access?
What if promotion wasn’t a burden, but a multiplier?

This is not nostalgia for old systems.
This is a prototype for what comes next.

How the Revenue Model Works (Clear & Simple)

Couchstock does not guarantee artist payments.

There are:

  • No booking fees
  • No appearance guarantees
  • No advances

Instead, we offer direct participation in ticket revenue.

  • Tickets are $20
  • Each artist receives a unique tracking link
  • $10 per ticket sold through that link goes to the artist
  • Revenue share applies to tickets sold through September 1st, 2026
  • No caps, no thresholds, no minimum sales required

If your audience shows up, you get paid.
If they don’t, you don’t.

That’s not punishment.
That’s transparency.

Why Promotion Is Essential (Not Optional)

Couchstock is not backed by:

  • Major labels
  • Venture capital
  • Corporate sponsors

It is built by creators, funded by participation.

That means the festival only succeeds if:

  • Artists talk about it
  • Managers activate their networks
  • Audiences are invited, not assumed

Posting once is not participation.
Silence is not neutrality.

This model rewards effort because effort grows the entire pie.

What We Expect From Artists & Managers

By participating in Couchstock, you’re agreeing to:

  • Share your tracking link consistently
  • Promote the festival across your platforms
  • Treat this as a collaborative build, not a passive booking
  • Help educate your audience on why this event matters

You are not required to:

  • Pay to perform
  • Sell a minimum number of tickets
  • Exclusively promote Couchstock
  • Change your sound or brand

But if you don’t promote, you shouldn’t expect revenue.

This is a shared-upside ecosystem.

Why This Matters for Managers

Couchstock provides something rare: clean, trackable conversion data.

Managers gain:

  • Proof of audience engagement
  • Transparent revenue attribution
  • A measurable test of fan support
  • Useful data for future booking and sponsorship conversations

Even modest sales demonstrate real-world pull, which matters more than follower counts.

Why This Matters for Artists

Couchstock gives you:

  • A reason for fans to show up intentionally
  • A direct monetization path tied to your audience
  • A professionally produced, long-form performance
  • Exposure on a platform built for cannabis-adjacent and independent creators

This is not about chasing virality.

It’s about building something that lasts.

The Long Game

Couchstock is designed to grow.

If this works, it becomes:

  • An annual flagship festival
  • A recurring music destination on OTT
  • A launchpad for additional artist revenue opportunities
  • A proof-of-concept for creator-owned media

Early participants aren’t just performers.
They’re foundational.

Final Word

Couchstock is not asking artists to gamble.

It’s asking artists to participate.

To promote.
To engage.
To activate their audience.
To help build a festival where success is shared.

If we build it together, everyone eats.
If we don’t, nobody does.

That part is honest.
That part is intentional.
That part is the point.

Welcome to Couchstock.

No Guaranteed Compensation

Artist understands that submission and/or acceptance to Couchstock does not guarantee payment, appearance, compensation, or reimbursement of any kind. Couchstock operates as a platform-based festival experience, similar to other large-scale music and cultural festivals, where participation value includes exposure, audience access, and platform reach.

Optional Revenue Share Opportunity

No Employment or Contractor Relationship

Artist acknowledges that participation does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship with STNR.TV, Couchstock, or any affiliated entities.

Platform-Based Participation

Artist understands Couchstock is a digitally delivered, OTT-based event experience. Technical availability, scheduling, placement, and visibility are subject to platform operations and are not guaranteed.

Independent Promotion Encouraged

Artist Revenue Share Opportunity

Transparent, Platform-Based Participation Model

Couchstock is built as a platform, not a traditional promoter-pay model. Much like major cultural festivals and media platforms, Couchstock does not guarantee artist fees simply for participation. Instead, we focus on reach, infrastructure, audience access, and long-term creator opportunity.

That said, we do offer an optional, performance-based revenue share for artists who choose to actively promote their participation.

How the Revenue Share Works

Accepted artists may receive a unique ticket referral link tied directly to Couchstock’s in-house OTT ticketing system. Any ticket purchased through that link is tracked back to the artist.

For qualifying sales, the artist will receive:

50% of the net ticket revenue generated through their referral link

This revenue share is:

  • Optional and participation-based
  • Earned only through verified ticket purchases
  • Calculated per ticket sold through the artist’s link
  • Available through September 1, 2026

There is no cap on how much an artist can earn through this model.

What This Is (and What It Is Not)

This revenue share:

  • Is not a guaranteed payment
  • Is not an appearance fee
  • Is not a wage, salary, or advance
  • Is not tied to performance time, slot placement, or view count

Instead, it functions as a creator-driven affiliate revenue model, allowing artists to directly benefit from the audience they bring into the event.

Couchstock provides the platform, infrastructure, streaming delivery, ticketing, security, and distribution. Artists bring their audience, energy, and community.

Why We Chose This Model

Traditional festivals often pay nothing to emerging or independent artists while still benefiting from their participation and promotion. Couchstock chose a more transparent approach:

  • No false promises
  • No “exposure only” language
  • No back-room deals

If you bring people in, you share in the upside.

This model allows us to:

  • Keep ticket prices accessible
  • Reduce overhead
  • Pay artists based on real impact
  • Scale globally without cutting creators out

Promotion Is Artist-Driven

Artists are responsible for promoting their own referral link. This may include:

  • Social media posts
  • Email newsletters
  • Community outreach
  • Website links
  • Fan engagement

Couchstock does not guarantee ticket sales, audience size, or conversion rates.

Tracking & Payouts

  • Ticket sales are tracked internally via STNR.TV’s OTT ticketing system
  • Reporting is based on platform-verified data
  • Payout timelines and minimum thresholds, if applicable, will be communicated separately
  • All revenue share is subject to successful transaction processing and platform verification

No Employment Relationship

Participation in Couchstock and its revenue share program does not create an employment, contractor, partnership, or agency relationship. Artists retain full independence and ownership of their work.

Bottom Line

Couchstock exists to give artists a stage that scales.

We build the infrastructure.
You bring the crowd.
We split the upside.

If that aligns with how you move as an artist, welcome to the couch.
